Call for Papers
The call for papers for the 2009 Australasian Economic Theory Workshop is now closed.
The Department of Commerce and the Department of Economics & Finance at Massey University in Auckland and Palmerston North will host the 2009 edition of the Australasian Economic Theory Workshop (AETW) on Massey University’s Auckland campus (view map and details). The AETW is an annual meeting of theoretical economists in the Australasian region. It traditionally provides a forum to present, discuss, and exchange ideas in economic theory, and to foster collaborative research projects. The workshop is held at different universities throughout the region and we consider it a great opportunity to host the event in 2009. We invite scholars in all areas of Economic Theory to participate in this event.
To be considered as presenters in the workshop, please submit your paper by 15 December 2008 using the submission page.
No registration fee is due for attending this meeting.
New Zealand Institute of Economic Research (NZIER)- Travel Sponsorship
The NZIER have generously sponsored four $500 travel grants for the best students outside of Auckland. To be considered for financial support PhD students will need to indicate so when submitting their paper and will also need to ask their supervisor to send a letter of endorsement of their submission and request of financial support to aetw2009@massey.ac.nz.
Please follow the instructions available on our submission page for uploading an extended abstract or full paper of your research work which you would like to be considered in the workshop program.
