Accommodation

However, to facilitate your search for a suitable accommodation we have a few suggestions for you.
We have negotiated special rates for participants in the AETW09. When making a reservation with any of the suggested accommodations below, please do not forget to quote the agreement for the AETW 2009 hosted by Massey University in order for those negotiated rates to apply to your booking.
Please, also keep in mind, when choosing your accommodation, that transportation to and from the conference site will be provided on both days of the workshop, but only from the Emerald Inn and the Spencer on Byron in Takapuna. The workshop dinner of Friday, 20 February, will be at the Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna, within walking distance from these two hotels.

Option 1: The Emerald Inn - Takapuna
The Emerald Inn is situated at Takapuna Beach. We have agreed on the following prices with them.
All prices are per night and include GST of 12.5%.

(Queen sized bed in one room and two single beds in the other room, shower in bathroom)
Duplex Unit: $285.00 (for 4 people)

The Spencer on Byron is situated in the centre of Takapuna, only a stroll from the Beach. We have agreed on the following prices with them.

The Executive Motor Inn is situated in Albany within walking distance from Massey University’s Auckland Campus ca. 1.5 km.
All prices are per night and include GST of 12.5%.

Please be aware that these tariffs only apply when making your booking by the end of December 2008. Price rises are expected starting from January 2009.
